ART FORMS.

All giclees are embellished and signed by Margi, a Santa Barbara Artist. The Giclee printing method is the most advanced & perfected technology in female fine art reproduction. Giclee, pronounced (zhee-clay), means "spray of ink." It is a term that originates from the French. Creating a giclee print is difficult and requires intense care, expertise, and attention from the printer. The original painting is photographed and then a digital image is created, that image is what is read by a computer.

The computer then relays the image to a six color, large format printer. The printer produces the image by delivering a fine spray of ink, up to a million micro droplets per second. Each droplet is four times smaller than a human hair.

The display of a full color spectrum gives the reproduction the finest detail and vibrancy of the artist's original image, as well as maximum resolution of color density. Giclee prints are in museums and galleries throughout the world displaying female fine art and women's art deco.
